Our team was approached by a Swiss bank to developing an application utilizing the Open Banking platform. Targeting a younger demographic, they were looking to disrupt the banking market in a way that felt fun, fresh, and focused.

Extensive user research and testing led us to realize there was an opportunity for a more edgy tone and approach. Something that felt inherently different and earned trust through this feeling.

 

User research and testing supplemented a client workshop to develop new features and functionality

Leading the user research, user testing, and client design workshop, my goal wasn’t only to create a great product but also to introduce Agile methodology to the client team. We utilized two week sprints and client ownership to drive forward the design process. NPS scores showed an average of 56 over the two month case and client members expressed satisfaction not only with the product itself but also with their sense of ownership, stakeholder trust, and cross-team collaboration.

The result was an onboarding experience that stripped away significant portions of the existing flow and completely revitalized the tone and visuals for the product. This was followed with 3 rounds of user testing online and a final prototype was produced.
